This notice supplements the privacy policy and explains which cookies (and similar tools, such as storing preferences in the browser) we use on the site, why, for how long and how you can choose.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the site or third-party services save on your device. They are used to make pages work, remember choices (such as consent or language) or, if you allow it, to understand how the site is used and whether an advertising campaign led to a booking request.

We also use browser local storage (localStorage) to remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. It is not an HTTP cookie, but it has the same preference purpose: we treat it as a similar tool.

2. Which cookies we use

Technical (always active)

Necessary for the site. They do not require consent.

PHP session — keeps the visit open, protects the booking form (CSRF token) and access to the staff area. Duration: until the browser is closed or the session expires.
Consent preference (localStorage pcs_cookie) — stores Accept or Reject, so we do not show the banner on every page. It remains until you delete it from the browser or change it.
Language (cookie pcs_lang) — stores the chosen language (Italian, English, German, French, Spanish) for 12 months.
Visits (cookie pcs_vid) — anonymous visitor id for internal site statistics (visits and page views). Duration: 12 months. Not used for advertising.

Statistics and marketing (consent only)

At present, statistics and marketing tools may not yet be active. When they are, they will start only after Accept on the banner. Until then we do not install profiling or advertising cookies.

If you click Reject, the site remains fully usable: booking, rates and information pages still work. No statistics or marketing cookies are set.

3. How you give or withdraw consent

On the first visit the banner appears at the bottom: Accept or Reject.
You can change your mind by clearing browsing / site data for this domain and reloading the page: the banner appears again.
From the browser you can block or delete cookies (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge settings). If you also block technical cookies, some functions (booking, admin area, language) may not work.

4. Third parties

Technical cookies remain on our site. Statistics and marketing cookies, if accepted, are set by campaign-measurement services and may involve a transfer of data outside the EU with the GDPR safeguards. We do not use embedded social-plugin cookies.

5. Legal basis
